Monsoon flood is not an unknown fact for Bangladesh or it’s people. And because of the climate change it is becoming more dangerous to the motherland. By August 2017, people of Bangladesh have faced the flood situations for the second time within two months. More than 30 districts were affected by flood because of the heavy rainfalls as well as water flow from the upstream hills in India. This have led the inundation to almost destroy the rivers basis areas badly. According to the study of Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFEC), which they have published on August 22, 2017, 90 stations are under monitoring, 37 stations are rising, 49 are falling and 4 stations are steady. At 26 points, rivers have been running above the danger level (details A nnex-1). During this period of Flood, many people lost their homes, livelihoods, domestic animals, crops and most importantly their lives. Through my photograph, I’ve tried to show their daily life, impacts of flood in there lives and the pain and uncertainty they are living with during these days.
